I tried some circular motion influence in this simulation, which along with some black-body style color gradients gives a result that resembles the Firefox logo, albeit on steroids.

Scientists, engineers, and alike have been using flow fields to visualize fluid behavior since the first theories of fluid mechanics were postulated. Imaging and simulation has come along way from primitive illustrations, and I see, all the time now, a type of mathematical beauty that surfaces from behaviors of fluid simulation. Thus, I’ve decided to create a series of images to display the splendor that can be found within those fields of flow.
